Club Mahindra Ooty the green Paradise

Ooty was earlier called OOtacamund and it  is situated in the Nilgiri hills. Nilgiri hills are also called The Blue Mountains. The name Nilgiri either comes from the blue haze due to the eucalyptus trees that are there in the area or  the Kurunji flower. This flower blooms every twelve years and gives the Nilgiri Hills a bluish tinge. Ooty was the summer capital of the British who were stationed at the Madras Presidency.

  1. Club Mahindra Holiday Reviews
Once I reached Derby green, the Club Mahindra hospitality was at work. Right from the watchman to the reception staff, each one was polite, courteous and answered all my queries. While the checkin formalities were being completed, I was served with Nilgiri tea.The room was good, it was neat and spacious. The décor was nice and I had a good night’s rest in the room. I had read some good club Mahindra reviews, so my expectations were very high from Ooty and this place matched my expectations

The bathroom was nice and spacious with all the modern amenities. Using the modern bathroom was a real pleasure. The food was delicious. They served a nice combination of Indian and western meals. The impeccable Club Mahindra hospitality is especially noticeable in the restaurants. The recreation staff arranges group activities and bonfire at night. I preferred travelling to different parts of Ooty rather than participating in the activities arranged by the staff. The bonfire is fun.

The travel desk at Club Mahindra arranges sightseeing tours, though you can also check the local cabs, which are cheaper but also not as comfortable as the tour arranged by Club Mahindra. Though expensive, Derby Green is a great choice for a holiday.
